Layer: Tasmanian Planning Scheme Zone Boundaries - Historical (ID: 27)

Name: Tasmanian Planning Scheme Zone Boundaries - Historical

Display Field: LPS

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolyline

Description: A planning scheme regulates the way land can be used or developed. It sets out the overall approach to planning in each council area and the specific requirements or standards for the use, development and protection of land. A planning scheme has two parts: - text that sets out the requirements or standards for use and development, and - maps that show zones and overlays indicating where requirements or standards apply. The Tasmanian Planning Scheme Zone Boundaries dataset is an online resource that integrates all zones boundaries across the state. Zone boundaries map zoning changes that do not align with parcel boundaries, road centrelines or local government area boundaries, and provide information about the features that define their location. This Historical layer is designed to provide a record of changes over time, by integrating current and former zones or overlays for areas where amendments have been applied.
